祝贺您被中国美术学院录取为2018级硕士/博士研究生。为做好新生入学工作，请认真阅读下列事项：
You are welcome as a student for Doctorate or Master’s degree in China Academy of Art. Please be informed as below:
一、报到/REGISTRATION
1、报到时间：2018年9月2日, 9：00—16：00。
Registration time: 9:00am–––16:00pm Sept. 2nd, 2018
2、报到地点：中国美术学院象山校区山南16号楼国际教育学院（杭州市象山路352号）缴费并注册报到。
Add: International College, BLDG.#16，No.352 Nanshan Rd. China Academy of Art
(Southern part of Xiangshan Campus)
3、报到时须交验：①《入学通知书》原件 ②护照（含复印件2份）③毕业证书原件（含复印件2份）④学位证 书原件（含复印件2份）。随后到各院系报到。
Pls present:
1. Original admission letter.
2. Yr passport with two photocopies of it.
3. Original document of yr graduation diploma with two photocopies of it.
4. Original certificate of yr degree with two photocopies of it.
After that you will go to your department to get registered there,too.
4、因特殊原因，不能按时报到入学者，于8月20日至30日向学校国际教育学院（caaic@163.com，电话：86-0571-87164712）请假，请假期限不超过2周。未办理请假手续或请假逾期仍未报到者，视为放弃入学资格。
If you are not able to register during the above mentioned time, you must send a written explanation to the International College Office either by fax or Email(Fax: 0571-87164712, Email: caaic@163.com) between 20th Aug and 30th Aug. The latest time for registration delay is two weeks. Those who don’t send explanation or fail to register within the above time will be regarded as dropout by themselves.
二、缴费/FEES
学费：根据浙江省物价部门核准的标准收取。标准具体如下：
1、硕士层次:60000元/生/学年（含保险）。
2、博士层次：68000元/生/学年（含保险）。
Fees:
According to the standards approved by Zhejiang Provincial Price Bureau:
1.Doctorate: RMB68000 per year（Including insurance）.
2.Master’s degree: RMB60000 per year（Including insurance）.
代管费：每生预缴代管费300元，毕业前多退少补。
RMB300 for study materials will be charged upon registration. The balance will be refunded to you while the shortage will be charged before graduation.
住宿费：以入住房间大小，按学年缴费。
Accommodation: will be paid according to yr room size annually.
付款方式：持有在中国境内开户的各类银联标志的银行卡，刷卡交纳。
Payment must be made by Unionpay Card whose account opened within China.

注：
1.电费自理，每月学校补贴是10度电。
2.住宿费每学年缴一次。因故退学的，可以按学期结束后的余额退款。由于个人原因中途退出住房的，不予退款。
3.学生原则上第一学年在留学生公寓居住，此后经个人提交《中国美术学院境外学生校外住宿申请表》，学院批准，可以在公安局规定可以接纳境外人士的住宅区居住。

Note:
1. Shared use of refrigerators, washing machines and microwave ovens.
2. Electricity fees will be paid by students. The first 10 kilowatt-hour every month is paid by the academy.
Accommodations fees are paid 100% at the beginning annually. No refunds will be made if you withdraw from the programs for personal reasons.
All foreign students are required to live in the overseas student dormitory for the first year. Thereafter, you may apply to CAA with Form of Application to Live Outside of School for International Students. After it is approved by CAA, you may live in the residency where they are authorized to accept foreigners as permitted by Hangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau.
三、入学教育/New Students Enrollment Instructions:
1、2018版《中国美术学院研究生手册》将于8月中旬上网，是学生在校期间学习和生活的指南，请你自行下载全文并认真阅读学习。届时请详见网站grs.caa.edu.cn或关注“中国美术学院研究生会”微信公众号（CAA20130903）。
Guide for Students of Master’s degree of CAA （2018 version）will be available online in mid August. It is necessary for yr study and living in school. Please download the full text and read it carefully. It can be found at website: grs.caa.edu.cn. Or you can join and follow "The China Academy of Art Student Council" public account: CAA20130903 on Wechat.
2、国际教育学院入学教育：外籍硕士、博士研究生将单独组织入学教育，具体时间和地点将在报到注册时告知。
The Enrollment Instruction of foreign students for master's degree and PhD will be organized by International College. Details of time and place will be given on registration.
四、新生资格复查和身体健康检查/ New Students Qualification Re-evaluation Exam and Medical Exam Procedures:
入学后，学校将在2个月内组织新生专业资格复查和新生身体健康复查，到杭州市出入境检验检疫局进行健康复查，复查合格的新生办理注册手续，并于12月发学生证。对不符合录取要求的新生将取消录取资格。具体时间,另行通知。
Within two-months after enrollment, you will attend a re-evaluation exam organized by CAA and also a standard medical exam in Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine. Those who meet the Academy's requirements will be able to register formally and formal Student Identification cards will be given in December. Those who do not pass the above exams will be unable to register and enrollment will be revoked. Detailed time for the re-evaluation exams will be informed later.
五、签证/ VISA
1、请持X1签证入境。
X1 visa is the correct type for you to study in China.
2、新生入学必须在入境后30天之内，持《入学通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》、《国际旅行人员健康检查记录》、X胸片及血液化验报告（均为原件），学校证明等去杭州公安局出入境管理处办理签证手续，逾期所受处罚的一切费用自理。
新生第一次办理居留许可签证由学校统一带领，以后学生自己去。
Within 30 days after entering China, students must report to the Visa office of Hangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau, to present: Admission Letter, Visa Application Form for Foreign Student in China, Health Inspection Record for International Travelers, original X-ray, original blood-test reports, CAA certificate, in order to be authorized with residence permit. Anyone who doesn’t fulfill it punctually will be fined. And you will have to pay it by yourself.
CAA will organize freshmen to apply for residence permit for the first time. After that students will go on your own.
