1、入境入学
Entry and Enrollment
Q1：国际学生秋季学期能否正常来华学习？Can international students enter the Mainland of China as usual for the fall semester?
中国美术学院秋季学期如期开学。根据目前的疫情防控形势:
1）在中国境内的同学可以按学校注册时间来校报到，参加线下学习。
2）不在中国境内的同学，由于航班和入境的相关限制不能入境中国，可以进行线上报到注册（具体办法，另行通知）、线上学习。
The fall semester of China Academy of Art will commence as scheduled. According to the current situation of epidemic prevention and control:
1)International students in the Mainland of China are expected to arrive at the university to register and take part in offline learning.
2)Those outside the Mainland of China who cannot enter the country due to travel restrictions and entry requirements can register online for online learning.(Specific measures for online registration of students will be notified separately)
Q2:在中国境外的国际学生，预计什么时候能入境？Is there any estimated time when international students outside the Mainland of China will be allowed to enter?
因为疫情的不确定性，目前无法确定允许入境的时间，请耐心等待学校通知。Due to the uncertainty of the pandemic, there is NO estimated time the university can provide. Please wait for further information from CAA.
2、老生注册报到
Registration of Current Students
Q3:老生什么时候报到注册？When shall current students register with the university?
1）根据校历安排，学生不能提前返校，老生在9月12日当天注册，9月14日开始上课。
1)According to the academic calendar,students are not allowed to return to school ahead of schedule. Current students shall register on September 12, and classes will begin on September 14.
2）在中国境内的学生，在开学前14天必须每日测量体温，记录健康状况和活动轨迹并如实上报学校健康打卡系统
2)Students inside the Mainland of China must have your body temperature taken daily 14 days before September 12, record your health status and travel track and report to the CAA health punch-in system:

3）对于来自、途径或者去过疫情中高风险区的学生，需先报告国际教育学院老师，等待学校通知，并按学校要求做好相关工作才能返校。
3)Students who come from, pass through or have been to areas of medium and high risk of epidemic must report to teachers of International College and wait for CAA's notice.Do relevant work according to CAA's requirements before returning to campus.
Q4:如因病或因事无法报到，该如何处理？If I cannot register due to illness or other special circumstances, what should I do?
因病或因事暂时无法报到，请按学籍管理规定及时办理请假手续。可联系国际教育学院学生事务办公室申请和办理（caaic@163.com）。开学2周内未办理请假手续，将被视为擅自离校，将做退学处理。
If you cannot register due to illness or other special circumstances, please ask for leave in time according to the students status regulations. Please contact the Student Affairs Office of the International College（caaic@163.com）. If you fail to ask for leave within the first two weeks of the new semester, you will be deemed to leave the university without permission and drop out of the university.
Q5:老生休学或复学如何办理？How to apply for suspension or resumption of schooling?
Please complete application for suspension or resumption between September 1 and 11 by contacting the Student Affairs Office of the International College. You are required to fill in forms and provide supporting documents, which can be handled in person or by others. You also have to go through the procedures of check-out from the dormitory and leaving the university if you apply for suspension.
Q6：IMFA项目，2020-2021学年秋季学期教学如何安排？How to arrange the teaching of the IMFA program?
IMFA项目，2020-2021学年秋季学期全部为线上授课。具体线上课程安排，请等待IMFA办公室另行通知。
IMFA program will be taught online in 2020-2021 Fall Semester. Please wait for further notice from IMFA office for the detailed arrangement of online course.
3、学费、奖学金

Q7：我知道受疫情的影响，课程会从课堂实地教学改为线上教学，但这会导致我2020-2021学年的学费有任何的变化吗？I understand the COVID-19 situation will cause my courses change from face-to-face classes to online ones, will this bring any change to the tuition fees for the 2020-2021 academic year？
在2020秋季学期，不管届时具体的教学形式是线下教学还是线上教学，中国美术学院的全体教职员工都将全力以赴为学生提供完整、充实而丰富的高质量教育机会。根据政府和学校的政策，2020-2021学年的学费将不会有变化。
The faculty and staff members of China Academy of Art are all committed to providing students with a complete, full and enriched semester of high quality educational opportunities for the Fall 2020 semester, regardless of whether the courses will be conducted in person or provided online. In accordance with the government and university policies, tuition fees for the 2020-2021 academic year will not be altered.
Q8:我是中国政府奖学金生，按学校要求办理了报到注册，奖学金如何发放？I am a new student with Chinese Government Scholarship. How will my scholarship be issued after I register as required?
1）按学校要求到校办理报到注册手续的同学，我校按该奖学金的管理规定正常执行。
1)For students who complete on-site registration as required, the scholarship will be normally issued according to related regulations.
2）按学校要求线上办理报到注册手续的同学，奖学金生活费待学生正常来校报到，并通过相关资格审查之后开始发放。
2)For students who complete online registration as required, the scholarship will be issued once they arrive in China, register on-site and pass the required qualification review.
