Notice on the Opening of Online Public Elective Courses for International Students (Master's and PhD students)

各位国际学生Dear All：

根据疫情防控形势的变化，为满足国际学生研究生完成必要选修课程的需要，经研究，决定面向全体国际学生启动一轮线上公共选修选课工作。According to the changing situation of epidemic prevention and control, CAA has decided to launch a round of online public elective courses for all international students in order to meet the needs of international graduate students to complete the necessary elective courses.

一、修读对象Participants

面向全校国际学生（研究生）开放。Available to all International Students (Master's and PhD students) of CAA.

二、课程性质和限选门数Nature of courses and number of courses restricted

1、结合国际学生的学习特点，开设8门专门面向国际学生（含新生和老生）的线上公共选修课。每人限选3门，需在超星尔雅平台进行线上修读，无线下衔接环节。线上修读取得合格成绩的，学校认可其学分。Eight additional public elective courses for international students are available for your characteristic studying.Three courses per person (not subject to the number of previously selected courses) . They are for online studying only on the website of  http://caa.boya.chaoxing.com(超星尔雅平台). Not available offline. CAA accepts the credits of qualified grade which are obtained by online study.

2、老生：2020年秋季学期将继续开放2020年春季学期的5门线上选修课程（艺术哲学：美是如何诞生的、中国文明史（上、下）、艺术鉴赏、美学原理、探寻中国茶：一片树叶的传奇之旅），如果还未完成的学生，可在2020年12月31日前，完成相关在线课程视频学习和考试。Current student: the Fall 2020 semester will remain open for five online elective courses from the Spring 2020 semester. If you have not yet completed these courses, you have until December 31, 2020 to complete the associated online course video study and exams.

三、课程信息Course Information

相关课程信息可自学校研究生处网站grs.caa.edu.cn，按课程名称查询，地址：http://caa.boya.chaoxing.com/portal。

Courses related to information from the graduate school website, grs.caa.edu.cn, according to the course name query, address: http://caa.boya.chaoxing.com/portal.

四、修读政策Study Policy

（一）修读要求Requirements

1.上述八门课程仅设置线上环节。Above eight coursesare are available online ONLY.

2.合格成绩取得的最后期限为2020年12月31日，逾期仍未取得线上环节合格成绩视为无效。31 December 2020 is the deadline for you to obtain the qualified credit.  Overdue online achievement is considered invalid。

3.最终认定的成绩以上述课程名称及对应的学时、学分、成绩予以记载。The final grade shall be recorded by the course name and the corresponding hours, credits and grades.

（二）考核方法Assessment method

满分100分。线上环节的考核分为三个部分/Centesimal grade.The online examination is divided into three parts：

1.看视频。全部看完得50分。需100%完成后方可参加线上课程考试。Watch the videos. 50 points for going through. 100% completion is required before being accepted to attend online course exams.

2.章节测验，每个视频后有配套章节测验（单选题、多选题、判断题，随机给合），需100%完成方可参加课程考试。Chapter tests. After each video, there is a complete set of chapter test (single & multiple choice, judgment questions, randomly given) with no score.You are required  to 100% complete them before being accepted to take the course examination.

3.课程考试，总分50分。题型与单节测试题型相同。Oline Course Examination totals 50points. The question types are the same as the chapter tests.

（三）课程考试时间 Oline course examination time

在线学习时间为系统开放时间至2020年12月27日。线上考试时间为2020年12月28日至31日（共四天），注意不要错过线上考试时间。本次面向国际学生开设的线上课程不设补考。The online study period is from the time the system is open until December 27, 2020. Online examinations will be held from 28 to 31 December 2020 (four days in total), so be careful not to miss the online examinations. There is no make-up exam for this online course for international students.

五、选课方法 Selection Method

1、请将自行下载《2020年秋季学期国际学生线上选修课报名表》（附件Attachment：2020年秋季学期国际学生线上选修课报名表.xlsx），填写相关信息后，发送至国际教育学院栾老师（wechat:yimukun）或caaic_doc@126.com。Please download the Registration Form of Online Elective Courses for International Students for the fall semester of 2020, fill in the relevant information and send it to Mr.Luan, the teacher of International College.（wechat:yimukun or caaic_doc@126.com)

2、选课报名时间截止2020年10月2日17：00（中国北京时间），逾期不予受理。Course selection deadline: 2 October 17:00（Beijing Time）

3、课程开始时间另行通知。Course start time will be announced later.

六、学习方法How to study

线上环节的技术支持平台超星尔雅公司提供手机端“超星学习通”APP和电脑端两种终端学习方法。Superstar Erya will offer technology support platform for online links with a mobile APP as well as a PC one.

手机端和电脑端的两平台账号通用。用户名：学号，初始密码：123456（请注意修改密码）。注意须登陆电脑端或手机端在自己的账号下学习，否则平台无法记载其学习成绩，平台具有学习记录和控制功能。The mobile and computer accounts are in common use. Your Account is your Student ID with initial password: 123456（Remember to change it later）. Be sure that you should log on to your computer or mobile phone to learn under your own account, otherwise the platform isNOT able to record your academic achievements. The platform is capable to record your learning record and has control function.
