You are welcome as a student in China Academy of Art. Please be informed as below.
一、线上注册Online Registration
1、请每位新生（包括目前在中国境内、境外的所有新生）在2023年9月18日至2023年9月22日期间登录中国美术学院国际学生招生系统个人账号（网址：https://caa.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx）（未注册过的新生，账号：护照号码，密码：12345678），点击“在线注册”栏目，进行线上报到申请，并按照要求完成个人信息填写和入学资料提交。请学生密切关注线上报到申请结果，及时在系统中查看学校的进一步通知。
All the new students, no matter you are in or out of mainland China, should log onto the application system (https://caa.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx) between 18 September 2023 and 22 September 2023, and enter the column of “在线注册 Online Registration” to fill up personal information and submit required documents.（For new Students without registration, the account is their Passport Number and the password is 12345678） Please pay close attention to the result of online registration in the system and check the further notices from your department and the academy in time.
2、请每位新生自行下载钉钉app，创建个人钉钉账号，并于2023年9月18日前，使用钉钉扫描以下二维码，加入“中国美术学院（CAA）2023级国际学生群”。（加入群时，需要通过入群审核，请注明自己的护照姓名和学号）
Each new student should download the DingTalk app, create a personal DingTalk account, and join the DingTalk group “CAA 2023 International Students” through scanning the following QR code before 18 September 2023.
【提醒】Notes
（1）自费生在线上系统上传通过银行汇款学费的缴费凭证（提醒：新生在汇款时请务必备注学号、姓名和护照号码）。
Self-supporting students should pay the tuition fee before the online registration. Tuition fee could be paid through bank to the university's bank account. (Please make sure your student ID, name, passport number noted on the payment receipts.) Don’t forget to upload the bank remittance receipt to the online application system.
（2）已更换新护照的同学，请将新护照扫描件一并上传。
If you have changed your passport, please upload the scanned copy of your new passport to the online application system.
（3）请上传本人最新通过的HSK等级考试.
Please upload the scanned copy of the latest HSK certificate.
（4）本科生需上传高中毕业文凭扫描件；硕士生需上传本科毕业证书和学位证书扫描件；博士生需上传硕士学位毕业证书和学位证书扫描件；普通进修生（含交换生）和高级进修生请上传最高学历证明。
Undergraduate students should upload a scanned copy of their high school diploma; Master’s degree program students upload their graduation diploma and degree certificate of the undergraduate study period; doctorate students upload their graduation diploma and degree certificate of the Master’s degree program study period.General scholars (including exchange students) and senior scholars should upload your highest academic qualification certificates.
（5）因特殊原因无法按时注册的同学，请于2023年9月18日至9月22日期间向国际教育学院（caaic@163.com）提交保留学籍或延缓入学申请。开学2周内仍未提交线上注册申请、未请假、未提交推迟入学申请者，将视为放弃入学资格。（注：请假附证明材料，经学校批准后，请假期限为二周。）
Students who choose not to attend the online courses should submit their application for enrollment suspension to International College between 18 September 2023 and 22 September 2023. Failure to submit online registration application, leave or suspension application within 2 weeks after the start of the school year will be regarded as abandonment of admission.

二、现场报到On-site Registration
1、报到时间：2023年10月7日，9：00—17：00；国际教育学院中国画工作室进修生，请于2023年9月25日报到。
Registration time: 9:00am–17:00 pm，October 7, 2023. The Chinese Painting Studio advanced students of International College, please register on 25 September 2023.
2、报到地点：到中国美术学院象山校区山南17号楼国际教育学院107办公室（杭州市象山路352号）办理入学报到手续，随后到院系报到。
Registration Location: Room 107, International College, BLDG.#17. Southern part of Xiangshan Campus, China Academy of Art (No. 352 Xiangshan Rd., Hangzhou). After registration at the International College, you will go to your department to get registered there，too.
3、报到时须交验：①《入学通知书》原件 ②护照（含复印件1份）③前置学位毕业证书及学位证书原件（含复印件1份）④HSK（汉语水平考试）5级有效证书原件（含复印件1份）（注：中国政府奖学金生：第一年汉补的本科生需提交HSK3级或以上合格证书；硕博研究生需提交HSK4级或以上合格证书），HSK证书有效期为2年。⑤1张个人免冠彩色证件照（2.54×3.81cm）⑥无犯罪记录证明（中文或英文）或无犯罪记录承诺书原件 ⑦体检材料：含《外国人体格检查表》、胸部X光图片、血液化验报告清单（6个月有效期内）。
When registration, please present: ① Original admission letter ②Your passport with one photocopy of it ③Original documents of your graduation diploma and degree certificate with one photocopy of them ④ Original certificate of HSK 5 (or above) with one copy (For Chinese government scholarship candidates, undergraduate students with one-year Chinese language learning should submit a certificate of HSK3 or above, while postgraduate students should submit a certificate of HSK4 or above. The Certificate should be valid (within two years after the issued date). ⑤ one recent ID photo（2.54×3.81cm）⑥Original certificate of Non Criminal Record (in Chinese or English) or Non Criminal Record Commitment ⑦Medical examination materials, including Foreigner Physical Examination Form，chest X-ray and blood test report

Please pay attention to more information released on our website. (http://admission.caa.edu.cn) You will be notified of the on-site registration and other related work in advance. Postgraduate students should also check the notification of registration issued on the CAA graduation administration website (http://grs.caa.edu.cn/) and WeChat official account .
（2）因特殊原因，不能按时报到入学者，请于开学报到前一周向学校国际教育学院（caaic@163.com）书面请假，请假期限不超过2周。未办理请假手续或请假逾期仍未报到者，视为放弃入学资格。
If you are not able to register during the above mentioned time, you must send a written explanation to the International College Office by Email ( Email: caaic@163.com) one week before the start of the school year. The longest time for registration delay is two weeks. Those who do not send explanation or fail to register within the above time will be regarded as abandonment of admission by themselves.
三、缴费Fees：
1、学费：根据浙江省物价部门核准的标准收取。标准具体如下：
（1）本科生：52000元/学年（含保险）。
（2）硕士层次:60000元/生/学年（含保险）。
（3）博士层次：68000元/生/学年（含保险）。
（4）汉语言进修生：10000元/学期，16000元/学年；保险费：400元/学期，800元/学年。
（5）普通进修生：28000元/学期，52000元/学年（含保险）。
（6）高级进修生：32000元/学期，60000元/学年（含保险）。
Tuition Fees:
According to the standards approved by Zhejiang Provincial Price Bureau, the tuition fees for international students are as follows:
Undergraduate programs：RMB52,000 per year（Including insurance）.
Master’s degree programs: RMB60,000 per year（Including insurance）.
Doctorate programs: RMB68,000 per year（Including insurance）.
Chinese Language：10000RMB/Half year，16000RMB/Year; Insurance :400RMB/Half year，800RMB/Year.
General Scholar :28000RMB/Half year，52000RMB/Year（Including insurance）.
Senior Scholar:32000RMB/Half year，60000RMB/Year（Including insurance）.
3、代管费escrow fee：
预4-5年制本科生一次性收取教材费共计1500元（多退少补）。
Undergraduates: RMB1500 for textbooks of four or five years will be charged upon registration. The balance will be refunded to you while the shortage will be charged before graduation.
3、住宿费：以入住房间大小，按学年缴费。
Accommodation: paid according to your room size annually.
4、付款方式：持有在中国境内开户的各类银联标志的银行卡，刷卡交纳。
Payment must be made by UnionPay Card with the account opened within China.
5、中国政府全额奖学金生（免学费、住宿费、生活费，购综合医疗保险）：Chinese Government Full Scholarship Students (including tuition, lodging, living allowance and comprehensive medical insurance)
根据中国政府奖学金管理办法According to the notice of the China Scholarship Council, your fees for studying in China will be covered by Full scholarship.
（1）在学期间生活费标准为：本科生：2500元人民币/月，硕士研究生和普通进修生：3000元人民币/月，博士研究生和高级进修生：3500元人民币/月。（生活费为中国政府奖学金生在华学习期间的生活补贴，新生按实际到校时间开始发放生活费。）
Stipend:
Undergraduate students: RMB2,500 per month;
Master’s degree students/general scholars: RMB 3,000 per month;
Doctoral degree students/senior scholars: RMB 3,500 per month.
The stipends are a living allowance for Chinese government scholarship students during their study period in China and are paid to new students from the time of their actual arrival at CAA.
（2）住宿：中国美术学院国际学生公寓
①单人间（7平方米左右）；
②宿舍床上用品自理；
③电费需自理；
④中国政府金奖学金学生，原则上须住校。
Accommodation：
According to the accommodation standard of China Academy of Art
1. The dormitory is single room.（About 7 square meters）
2. Bedding will be purchased on your own.
3. The students need to pay for electricity power.
4. Basically, Chinese government students should live on the school campus.
Students of Chinese Government Scholarship must live in the overseas student dormitory for the first year. Thereafter, you may apply to CAA with the Form of Application to Live Outside of School for International Students. After it is approved by CAA, you may live in the residency where they are authorized to accept foreigners as permitted by Hangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau. You are to pay the expenses by yourselves.

四、入学教育/ New Students Enrollment Instructions:
1. 《中国美术学院国际学生本科生手册》是学生在校期间学习和生活的指南，请你自行下载全文并认真阅读学习。届时请详见网站admission.caa.edu.cn。
The Guide for Students of Bachelor's degree of CAA is necessary for your study and living in school. Please download the full text and read it carefully. It can be found at website: admission.caa.edu.cn.
2.中国美术学院国际学生新生入学后将进行学前教育。国际学生必须参加相应的学前教育必修科目。具体时间和地点将在报到注册时告知。
CAA will arrange pre-school instructions to all new students after enrollment. International students are required to attend the compulsory instruction courses and are not allowed to leave school during this period. Details of time and place will be given on registration.
五、签证/Residence permit：
持X1签证入境的新生，在入境后30天之内，持《入学通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》、《国际旅行人员健康检查记录》、X胸片及血液化验报告（均为原件）学校证明（必备）等去杭州市公安局出入境管理处办理签证手续，逾期所受处罚的一切费用自理。
Students who enter China with an X1 visa must report to the Visa office of Hangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau within 30 days, to present: Admission Letter, Visa Application Form for Foreign Student in China, Health Inspection Record for International Travelers, original X-ray, original blood-test reports, CAA certificate, in order to be authorized with residence permit. Anyone who does not fulfill it punctually will be fined. And you will have to pay it by yourself.

六、新生资格复查和身体健康检查/ New Students Qualification Re-evaluation Exam and Medical Exam Procedures:
新生入学后，由我校组织进行业务水平、身体状况、学历学位证书等复查。不符合条件者，取消入学资格。复查合格的新生办理注册手续，并于12月发学生证。
After enrollment, new students are required to attend a reevaluation exam of academic ability, physical health, graduation diploma and degree certificates. Those who do not pass the above exams will be unable to register and enrollment will be revoked. Those who meet the Academy's requirements will be able to register formally and formal Student Identification cards will be given in December. Detailed time for the reevaluation exams will be informed later.
七、安全须知/Safety instructions
1、国际学生必须遵守中国法律法规。
International students must abide by Chinese laws and regulations
2、国际学生必须遵守校纪校规。
International students must abide by the school rules.
3、禁止在校园内非法集会，有集体活动应先向所在学院申请。外国人不得在中国境内进行下列传教活动：
（1）在中国公民中委任宗教教职人员；
（2）在中国公民中发展宗教教徒；
（3）擅自在宗教活动场所讲经、讲道；
（4）未经批准在依法登记的宗教活动场所以外的处所讲经、讲道，进行宗教聚会活动；
（5）在宗教活动临时地点举行有中国公民参加的宗教活动，被邀请主持宗教活动的中国宗教教职人员除外；
（6）制作或销售宗教书刊、宗教音像制品、宗教电子出版物等宗教用品；
（7）散发宗教宣传品；
（8）其他形式的传教活动。
Unlawful assembly on campus is prohibited. Application for group activities should be filed to the college in advance for approval.
Aliens should not engage in the following missionary activities within Chinese territory:
(1) appointing religious personnel among Chinese citizens;
(2) developing religious followers among Chinese citizens;
(3) preaching and expounding the scripture at the sites for religious activities without permission;
(4) preaching and expounding the scripture or conducting religious gathering activities at the places outside the lawfully registered sites for religious activities;
(5) conducting religious activities in which Chinese citizens are admitted to participate at the temporary sites for religious activities, except that the Chinese religious personnel are invited to preside the religious activities;
(6) producing or selling religious books and journals, religious audio-visual products, religious electronic goods or other religious articles;
(7) distributing religious promotion materials;
(8) other missionary activities.
4、严禁携带和吸食毒品。毒品：是指鸦片、海洛因、甲基苯丙胺（冰毒）、吗啡、大麻、可卡因以及国家规定管制的其他能够使人形成瘾癖的麻醉药品和精神药品。
No drugs are allowed. Drug refers to opium, heroin, methamphetamine (ice), morphine, marijuana, cocaine, and other narcotic and psychotropic drugs causing dependency, all of which were controlled by state regulations.
