Welcome to the China Academy of Art! We hereby will provide you with the enrollment information as follows:
I. On-site Registration
Time: March 8, 2026, 9:00-11:30AM, 13:00-16:00PM.
Location: Room 205, Building 17, International College, Xiangshan Campus of China Academy of Art (No. 352 Xiangshan Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou).
Enter the campus with a printed copy of your Admission Notice.
Courses will officially begin on March 9 (Monday). Public Compulsory Courses Schedule can be found on International College Website(admission.caa.edu.cn).
Exchange students must also register at your respective departments after completing registration at the international college.

II. Registration Materials
1. Personal Ordinary Passport: Original and one copy.
2. Previous graduation and degree certificates: Original documents and one copy each(non-degree students are encouraged to provide if available).
3. One recent ID color Photo. Format: 2.54×3.81cm, without hat or any cover on face.
4. Certificate of No Criminal Record(in Chinese or English) or No Criminal Record Commitment Letter.
5. Foreigner Physical Examination Form and one copy.
III. Mobile Communication,DingTalk Campus Code and Wifi etc.
On the day of registration, you may apply for a Chinese mobile phone SIM card on-site or visit a mobile service center to obtain one.
Please download the DingTalk APP (Not the international version) and register with your Chinese mobile number. You will be added to the “CAA DingTalk” group the following day.

IV. Fees
1. For Chinese Language Students:
Textbook Fees: 200RMB/Semester
Insurance Fees: 500RMB/Semester
2. For Exchange Students:

V.Accommodation
March 8, on site choosing. In principle, international students need to live in campus. All the bedding, water and electricity fees and dormitory internet fees should cover by yourself.

1. Students from the Xiangshan and Nanshan Campus may check into Shanbei Living Area of Xiangshan Campus:Building 7 (single room: 4200 RMB/person/semester).
2. Students from the Liangzhu Campus will be uniformly accommodated in double rooms in Building 17 of the Liangzhu Campus (double room: 8400 RMB/person/semester).
3.Short-term students(less than 1 month) are suggested to live in Shanbei Living Area of Xiangshan Campus:Building 13(double room: 6600 RMB/person/semester; single room:13200 RMB/person/semester) .
4.Students opting for off-campus accommodation must complete the “China Academy of Art International Student Off-Campus Accommodation Application Form” and submit it to the International College for approval. Upon approval, they may stay in legal accommodations in Hangzhou designated by the Public Security Bureau to host foreigners. All expenses are to be borne by the students themselves.

VI. Visa and Residence Permit
New students who enter China with an X2 visa using the DQ form must, within 30 days of entry, bring the original documents of the “Admission Notice,” “Visa Application Form for Study in China,” and “Health Examination Record for International Travelers” to the Hangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration to complete visa procedures. Any penalties incurred due to delays will be borne by the students themselves.
New students who enter China with an X2 visa will not be issued a “Residence Permit” during the validity period of the visa. If an extension is required, they must apply to the Hangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration for an extension of their stay at least 7 days before the expiration date indicated on the visa.
New students must complete residence registration within 24 hours of entering China.
For students living on campus, please bring your passport to Room 17-205 on the Xiangshan Campus on March 8th (normally processed at Room 17-303).
For students living off-campus, you must bring your passport, rental contract, and other required documents to the local police station in your residential area within 24 hours of moving in to complete temporary residence registration. You must also submit the off-campus accommodation application form and the accommodation registration certificate issued by the local police station.

VII. Leave Requests
If you are unable to register on time due to special circumstances, please submit a written leave request along with supporting documents to the International College(caaic@163.com) one week before the start of the semester. The leave period should not exceed two weeks. Students who fail to apply for leave or do not register after the approved leave period will be considered to have forfeited their admission eligibility.

VIII.Beginning Courses
