I. Spring semester class

Time for the courses: March to June (including a demonstration of final creation works )

Content: Further study of master landscape paintings with a focus on space, outdoor landscape sketching, creating your own landscape paintings, studying freehand style bird and flower paintings, further study of calligraphy and seal carving, and basic knowledge of ancient framing styles. 

Teaching time: 9:00—12:00 in the morning, Monday to Friday, 4 teaching periods per day, 20 teaching periods per week.

Way of teaching: on-site

Assessment: Each student needs to finish 2—4 works in each course.

Notice:

The courses are conducted in small-sized classes. Within a unified curriculum, the specific teaching content for each student is determined according to their level, and an appropriate learning plan is developed for one-to-one tutoring.

Tuition fee: 28,000 RMB per semester

II. Autumn semester class

Time for the courses: September to January (including a demonstration of final creation works )

Content: An introduction to Chinese painting materials, an overview of landscape painting history, basic brush strokes and usage of ink, basic techniques of landscape painting, sketching trees and rocks, studying historical master landscape paintings, studying Gongbi style flower and bird paintings, studying calligraphy master works and signatures, studying Chinese traditional coloring methods, and basic mounting skills. 

Teaching time: 9:00—12:00 in the morning, Monday to Friday, 4 teaching periods per day, 20 teaching periods per week.
